This special evening features a double-bill of boundary- and border-crossing music. Appearing is another unique collaboration uniting seemingly disparate music and traditions: Kamancello features acclaimed musicians Shahriyar Jamshidi and Raphael Weinroth-Browne, and brings together the Kurdish kamanche (four-stringed spiked fiddle) with the cello through playful and entrancing improvisation.
